What is AIRCompEX ?

AIRCompEX is an innovative start-up specialising in the biocides regulatory sector (Regulation (EU) 528/2012) and a pioneer in the regulatory lifecycle management of biocidal products. Founded in 2023 by 3 partners who are experts in biocidal regulation, our aim is to create a sustainable regulatory ecosystem for biocidal products.

Who we are ?

Djamil AZAZNA, PhD

Senior Regulatory Expert

A chemist by training, Djamil holds a PhD in organic chemistry from the Université Paris-Saclay.

I have not found any biocide-oriented solutions on the market !


Djamil has worked for over 5 years in the field of chemical regulation. He has assisted more than thirty French and European companies in the chemical industry (VSEs, SMEs and major groups) in complying with REACH, CLP, detergents, biocides and pesticides regulations.

Samir LEMAITRE

Senior IT Developer

He is the link between software engineering and business processes. Trained at ENSIAS, he has a knack for simplifying workflows and making the impossible tangible.

Beyond code, building bridges between innovation and sustainability.

With a career path marked by key positions, tech-lead and release manager. In these roles, Samir has contributed to the success of several technology startups. A specialist in the development of software solutions, he has played a key role in the design and optimization of expert systems, always focusing on project efficiency and sustainability.

Rafik BENALIA

Passionate about information systems and new technologies, Rafik combines his expertise with a commitment to environmental protection.

Active since 2016 as an infrastructure administrator, he then specialized in Cloud and DevOps from 2020. An expert in automated deployment of cloud and on-premise infrastructures, Rafik plays a crucial role in supporting start-ups, contributing to their technological growth in a sustainable and secure way.

You are a company specializing in the production and marketing of biocidal products designed to destroy, repel, render harmless, prevent the action of or exert control over any harmful organism by chemical or biological means. Your products can be used in a variety of fields such as surface disinfection, water treatment, wood preservation and pest control.
Your products are subject to the Biocidal Products Regulation in Europe (BPR, Reg 518/2012) and must comply with it, under penalty of sanctions (fines, withdrawal of the products from the market, loss of customers, damaged reputation…).

You are a distributor focused on the sale and distribution of biocidal products to end-users, such as water treatment companies, food processing industries, healthcare establishments, etc. Biocidal products placed on the European market are subject to the Biocidal Products Regulation (RPB, reg 518/2012) and must comply with it or face sanctions (fines, withdrawal of the products from the market, loss of end-customers in the event of litigation)…

You are an expert specializing in european chemical regulations (REACH/CLP) and more specifically in biocidal products. You have knowledge of the physical chemistry and/or efficacy of biocidal products. You are familiar with the risk assessments of biocidal products regarding human and animal health, and to the health of the environment.

You are a laboratory providing services related to physico-chemical testing (physico-chemical characterization of products, stability testing, testing of physical hazard properties). You can also produce microbiological and efficacy tests (bacteria, viruses, yeasts, etc.).

You provide consultancy and expertise services to companies operating in the chemicals field, with a particular focus on compliance with national and European regulations concerning biocidal products.

You represent the biocides industry while defending the collective interests of your members and promoting the common objectives of the biocides industry. You work closely with biocides manufacturers and distributors, competent authorities and other stakeholders to contribute to the sustainable development and compliance of the sector.

You play a crucial role in promoting the biocides industry, so that biocidal products contribute to the protection of human health and the environment.
